Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy


At Oragadam Rooms, we aim to maintain transparency and fairness while balancing the needs of our guests and operational requirements. Guests are requested to carefully read and understand this Cancellation, Refund, Rescheduling, and Stay Policy before confirming a booking.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy

More than 7 days before check-in:
Guests are eligible for a 100% refund, subject to a processing fee.
7 to 3 days before check-in:
Guests are eligible for a 50% refund of the booking amount.
Less than 72 hours before check-in:
No refund will be provided. This will be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.

2. Flexible Cancellation Policy (If Opted / Mentioned at Booking)

Up to 24 hours before check-in:
Eligible for 100% refund.

Less than 24 hours before check-in:
No refund will be applicable.
Flexible cancellation is applicable only for bookings explicitly marked as flexible at the time of confirmation.

3. Non-Refundable Bookings

Bookings marked as Non-Refundable are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Rescheduling may be permitted at management discretion, subject to availability and additional charges.

4. Peak Dates & Special Periods

Cancellations are not permitted during peak or blackout dates, including but not limited to:
Independence Day (15th August)
Diwali period
Christmas & New Year (24th December – 2nd January)
Republic Day (26th January)
Bookings during these periods are strictly non-refundable.

5. Refund Processing

All eligible refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment wherever possible.
processing fee of up to 5% may be deducted to cover payment gateway and administrative charges.
GST, if applicable, will be charged on the processing fee.

6. Partial Payments & No-Shows

If only a partial payment or advance has been made, the advance amount is non-refundable.
Failure to check-in on the confirmed date without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

7. Early Check-Out

If a guest checks in and decides to leave before the scheduled check-out date, no refund will be provided for unused nights unless explicitly approved by management.

8. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to check-in.
Rescheduling is subject to room availability and tariff difference, if any.
rescheduling fee may be applicable based on notice period and season.
Each booking can be rescheduled only once.

9. Relocation Policy

Relocation to another property is not applicable, as Oragadam Rooms operates as a single-location accommodation.

10. Early Check-in & Late Check-out

Standard Check-in: 1:00 PM
Standard Check-out: 10:00 AM
Early Check-in:

Complimentary early check-in up to 12:00 PM, subject to availability.
Earlier check-in may be charged additionally, based on availability.

Late Check-out:

Complimentary late check-out up to 11:00 AM, subject to availability.
Late check-out beyond this time may attract additional charges.
All early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and management approval.

11. Cancellation by Oragadam Rooms

In rare and unavoidable circumstances (maintenance issues, force majeure, or operational constraints), Oragadam Rooms reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking. In such cases, guests will be offered:

100% refund, or
Rescheduling to alternate available dates, based on guest preference.

12. Acceptance of Policy

A booking is considered officially cancelled only when the cancellation is confirmed via phone, WhatsApp, email, or written confirmation from Oragadam Rooms.

By proceeding with a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy.
